From August 27 to 30, 2026, Zhejiang New Insight Wood Composite Co., Ltd. participated in Erbil Build Expo 2026 at Booth H1A8.
For us, the exhibition was not only about displaying WPC decking and wall cladding. More importantly, it was an opportunity to meet customers face to face, listen to the market, and explore the potential of the Iraqi market for WPC outdoor building materials.
During the four-day exhibition, we welcomed visitors from different parts of Iraq, including building material distributors, importers, contractors, project companies, and trading companies.
Many visitors came to our booth with specific questions about WPC products, including product structure, colors, installation, outdoor performance, and pricing.
Some customers were looking for WPC products for local distribution, while others were interested in potential applications in villas, residential projects, commercial buildings, hotels, and landscaping projects.
These direct conversations gave us a much clearer understanding of what local customers are looking for and how WPC products could fit into the Iraqi market.
One of the most valuable outcomes of the exhibition was gaining a better understanding of the local market.
Iraq has a growing demand for construction and outdoor building materials, while customers are also paying attention to durability, appearance, maintenance, and overall cost when selecting outdoor products.
For WPC, we see potential in applications such as outdoor decking, villa terraces, gardens, poolside areas, walkways, and exterior wall cladding.
At the same time, the market is diverse. Different customers have different expectations regarding product quality, price, design, and application. This means there is room for suppliers who can provide different product options and flexible solutions rather than a single standard product.
Our conversations at Erbil Build Expo gave us positive and practical feedback from the market.
More importantly, we established connections with potential partners and gained a better understanding of their businesses, customer groups, and purchasing needs.
For New Insight, this exhibition is only the beginning of our exploration of Iraq.
We will continue communicating with the customers we met in Erbil, following up on their projects and product requirements, and exploring opportunities for long-term cooperation.
